I have been designing a small suburban garden in Eastleigh since February.
The owner wanted a place where they could relax, eat outside, entertain two pet dogs and one small child as well as use as an outdoor office in summer. After the owner chose from two concept design drawings I supplied final plans with dimensions to allow the design to be set out easily in preparation for the building work.
Like most suburban gardens the garden had a variety of features including a large mature tree, tall fenced boundaries and some parts of the garden were rather shady. Turning these elements into positive assets was the brief for the new garden design.
I have also been designing the front garden to transform a rectangle of grass into a more welcoming entrance for visitors and improve the view outside from the kitchen window.
